Great chapter this week. Sabo aside, I'm frustrated with Pica saving Doffy for a few reasons, but more so because Oda trolled us thinking we'd see Zoro go all out. It's not impossible still, but damn...Your thoughts?

Haha, I had to. This week was too fucking amazing. Not only did Sabo obtain the fruit, he ate it immediately (so no one else could take it from him which I like) and also confirmed that he won't be using the same move set as Ace (he apologized for having to use Hiken (HOLY FUCK, DID YOU SEE THE DC HIS HIKEN HAD RIGHT OFF THE BAT?!). Also, I just realized, all of his moves are named after Dragon attacks and are Dragon based (Dragon Breath, Dragon Claw, etc), so basically his character has now been implicated to be a "real" Dragon via his ability to now use fire which I'm so fucking stoked for. I loved his appearance, even though his hair is slightly too much like Ace's, his character design is awesome and I loved every moment of seeing him in his full appearance. In addition to this, HE'S SECOND-IN-COMMAND?! HOLY FUCK! This to me just furthermore proves if he isn't right now (with the MMnM), he'll be a top tier soon enough as he obviously can't control Ace's DF yet which I really like. 

I have to admit, I'm frustrated with that too... I thought it was shitty because now he'll most likely stay with DD unless he was just there to make sure DD was fine and then will leave after whatever the fuck this "Bird Cage" thing is. I think next chap we'll get a Kora flashback, IMO Law's fear of "Bird Cage" is related to whatever DD did to Kora. 

Other than that, the only other thing that really happened was with Usopp and man... That whole scene was Platinum. That shit was so far above Gold it's not even funny. I was bustin' a gut the whole God damn time. Usopp's now a confirmed God. :LOS But seriously, will his lies ever not come true? Back in Syrup Village he claimed he had 8,000 followers, now I wouldn't be surprised if there were roughly 8,000 men following him (I mean you have all of the Dwarfs and the guys that were turned back to humans). Just seeing guys like DCJ, Cavvy, and the Funk Brothers truly be admiring him was awesome. 

All-in-all, 10/10 chapter for me and definitely the best chapter of the year so far. I can't wait to see what Sabo does with his DF and honestly, I'm kind of glad he ate it because IMO his fighting style is (well, most likely at least) so diverse that I can honestly see him not ever using one of Ace's moves unless as a homage to him which will be nice. In addition to this, back when we first heard about the MMnM being the tournament prize, I maintained that whoever got the DF would be somebody of importance to Luffy, I never expected it to be Sabo but IMHO, other than Coby, Sabo is absolutely perfect for it. If Ace truly never had Haki, Sabo will show us exactly what Ace would have been like had he still been alive and I couldn't be more happy with this as he's also Luffy's brother so it's almost perfect that he's the one to eat it. 

Just out of curiosity, I couldn't tell if troll or not, but are you serious about Sabo being your third fav/letting Ace fade? :geg

Yeah. I look forward to Sabo in the future. We should be seeing tons of staff/fire tricks. Did the fire kinda look black to you when he used Hiken? Aside from it being a manga panel that is. xD I got the implication that he imbued his flames with Haki.

Hopefully he does end up leaving. wWE NEED ZORO FEATS NAOW. Birdcage is mysterious indeed. I wouldn'r be surprised, but it sounds fun.:lbj

Oh man, the best part about everything he's done thus far (bar DF feats) is that they weren't even with his god damn pipe... When he uses that pipe... Oh man. Nah bro, if you look closely it's just the rubble that he destroyed. 

Yeah, I was so hyped for Zoro feats, then his opponent left... I'm kind of confused as to how the castle near Zoro is all wobbly still, I thought it would have gone back to normal when Pica left. 

That's basically the only lie that hasn't come true and I wouldn't be surprised if he does. :lbj

Apparently it's on hiatus next week, back for 745, then on hiatus again because of one of Shueisha's yearly breaks...  

I wish... I hate that people always bring up Ace in vs. debates because honestly, his feats were ridiculously inconsistent and on top of that, he never showed Haki feats. The only real flashback we could get of him is vs. Jimbei, other than that, we haven't been told of someone who he'd skirmished with in Paradise, plus he'd God stomp anyone from Paradise anyway.

So uh, Neru confirmed via GM that Sabo is Small City (he's 5.1 megatons, City level is 6.3) with Hiken www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?… . :minacool Finally a real calc... <3 This guy's calc is better than Neru's which makes it even more awesome and because it's GM it's legit and now I can produce 5.1 megatons of semen in honour.

S'all good, I recalled the bottom being Black but when you mentioned it I had to go back to make sure and yeah, it's just rubble. If you look at the top of his flames that extend directly from his fist, you'll see they're normal and then you can actually see the rubble in them.

Hmm, do you think it's like that until he goes back into his human form or is it just because he was moving that it caused the ripple effect? Well, he stopped Luffy and Zoro (though they weren't really fighting him) which is cool and he was able to recover DD's head so yeah, Pica's holding it down ATM. Trebol and Diamante have been major disappointments for me, I thought they were both pretty cool characters but man... I guess they just can't fucks with duh SHP.

Same guy that did Sabo's Small City Hiken tried to calc Entei's higher but instead he kept going lower and lower because there wasn't enough information unfortunately.

To be honest bro... The way this arc is going, I genuinely see Sabo stomping the three of them (Trebol, Diamante, and Burgess). He should be WAY above DD's M3, and if people are right that Burgess is < Sanji (I still doubt this myself) then Sabo should have very little trouble, especially now.

I know what you meant, but if you're expecting to see that from their confrontation, I think you may have your hopes set too high. Even if Ace was at a level where he could take BB Pre-TS, he was still caught in the net of PIS so I doubt he did anything substantial to BB which we would (most likely) see in a flashback. If we're to see anything from Ace, I don't think it will be during his fight against BB, but that's just me.

Dude, you really should, I think that's one thing that kind of held Zuko back was that he only really stuck to his graffiti style but when he did do something that wasn't graffiti it looked amazing. I think getting out of your comfort zone will allow you to evolve as an artist in general because the more you experiment with the more you can do.
