# About me
There is not much to tell. I am just another of the messed up masses, hurling through space on this rock. Trying to just make it another day without some new horror descending on me, and weighing my soul down further.I generally do not do any post processing of my images. I really have no clue how to use photoshop anymore, as it is too complex for my old brain. It was so much easier to use when it was small small enough to fit on fa loppy disk. So what you you see is what I shot, which is why I shoot multiple shots of the same subject and choose what to keep.
I only keep my photos up for a short period unless I truly like them or there is an interest in them from other parties. My favorites are available for purchase. Other use of my photos is not permitted. They are mine and are part of me. With that in mind I will share them but they are not to be taken freely, or manipulated.
Please feel free to comment on the photos. I have no way of knowing how to improve of if they are liked without feedback.

I appreciate the compliment but it does not change the fact that I do not agree with your manipulation of work by other members. I would not approve of such use of my works and would demand their removal. They are my works and are not to be altered or manipulated.

Your position is understandable.
However, your art is not involved in this situation.
To expand, the issues of copyright have been warped by the internet as a whole.
I have posted some work employing others works.
However, this has been due to inspiration, and I have
credited the original owners, rather than trying to claim I made these borrowed works on my own.
I assume you are also upset over the fact that my work gets more attention than yours. This frustration is also understandable.
I will not try to claim that my work is more art or
original than yours is. I have my expressive ways and likes, and you have yours.
The internet is full of people like me. However, there are also worse. People who will post other original art from other users with actual talent, such as drawing or animation.
In closing, I hope that you have a good day. Thank you for your comment, because it allowed me to find another great photographer on this site.
Thanks again,
~BlockingMars

My position has nothing to do with the attention or lack there of that my photos get. It has to do with the purposeful use works by other people for your gain. I would bet that although you credit the original artists that if you contacted them directly they would not approve of your use of their works in this way. I know I would not and in fact would be quite upset if it was done.
Additionally you are in clear violation the terms of services section 4:
4. Copyright
DeviantArt is, unless otherwise stated, the owner of all copyright and data rights in the Service and its contents. Individuals who have posted works to DeviantArt are either the copyright owners of the component parts of that work or are posting the work under license from a copyright owner or his or her agent or otherwise as permitted by law. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display or perform, or prepare derivative works based on any of the Content including any such works without the express, written consent of DeviantArt or the appropriate owner of copyright in such works. DeviantArt does not claim ownership rights in your works or other materials posted by you to DeviantArt (Your Content). So, then the question is posed. How much of DA is violating that very rule?
More specifically, what content would I have to remove in order to comply with this rule?

I would not venture to guess how many people stoop to violating that rule. Nor do I know how many of your images were pilfered from members without there consent, not to meant those from other sources that are undoubtedly covered by copyrights. I do know that some of the images you use were taken from members from which you did not get permission. Like I said as a photographer, granted an amateur one, I find that offensive to see the work of others disrespected in this way.

Disrespected? Some accounts were inactive.
Anyway, I think what you have implied is that every single post that I have made infringes on copyright.
Correct?

I cannot possibly answer that, but if you did not get permission, purchase or use creative common files then you violated copyright.

You want to say yes.
Point is, I think I am okay.
Now that I realize, you seem to more be saying "Hey, this is not okay," rather than "This is not okay and you are scum and I am going to destroy you" which is what it initially sounded like.
I appreciate this. Especially whipping out the rules on me like that, because, lets be honest, I did not read them carefully enough.
