Btw... How did you and what did you make that sword out of?
I'm looking to cosplay Claymore this year, and those swords are HUUUUGE and still need to be light weight.

started with a broken carbon fiber hockey stick, and two pieces of 1 inch pink insulation
carved out a couple grooves so i could slip the blade over it; and stuck the two halves together with caulk and a few screws
gave it some shape with a nice sharp knife. sanded, primed.
)it weighs 800 grams 1.76 pounds
but most of the weight is in the blade

its all painted now, and it is awesome
