I find it interesting how you can have an ED and not know a simple fact about them, like, Anorexia Nervosa is not the only ED. Its not even the most common or the most severe.
Most of that 'artwork' was created when I was pretty young. Before all the different names for EDs came in. Aside from Anorexia and Bulimia I didnt know there were other names for EDs. So I titled my shit the only way I knew.
Beside Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified- Bulimarexia. wouldnt fit in the Title space neatly.
Alot of the people online that say they are Anorexic actually are not. If they have an ED at all it would be EDNOS. Because You are not Anorexic unless you meet the criteria. and 'A refusal to maintain a minimal healthy weight for age/height. 85% of IBW' is absolutely required. If you were this at one point and are not now and still 'practicing' behaviors, then you are Still EDNOS.
So to answer your question. Most of the people with Eating Disorders are NOT Anorexic, they are EDNOS.

*sigh* there is always at least One when I check my comments. For your edification I dont know where you got the idea that I want to be anorexic. Even if I did "want" it no amount of trying to mimick the symptoms will cause me to "get it". I have an Eating Disorder. And Ihave for 10 years. I may have not been Diagnosed with the sacred Anorexia Nervosa but I have a severe ED none the less.
I never chose this, no one can. If honestly they have been starving themselves to lose weight for a period of time and honestly chose it, its not an ED its a diet.
I was 9 yrs old. I never even heard the words 'Eating Disorder' until I was 13 and it was eavesdropping on a conversation in school.
But really, Where did you get the idea that I want to "become Anorexic"??
