Hi. I had found your photo of the Leafy Sea Dragon by searching for Sea Dragon images. But just now, because of your nice thank-you, I took a peek at your gallery, and I just wanted to say that you take the BEST photos of food. As you know, it's hard to make food look appetizing in photos ... but you do it successfully again and again. Brava!

Ellen, thanks. I originally found "Dragon Tattoo" while searching specifically for dragon art. So I've only seen that one image and just now started browsing your gallery after reading this message. I looked through a lot of images and think I must have misremembered this one [link] as being about a tattoo coming alive.

Though you'd think I might have remembered this VERY creepy image with the soap more accurately.

omg, now you have me guessing... I had heard that a few months ago, and several other artists here on dA had posted tributes to him then, but now I cannot find anything about it, either... I wonder if it was all a hoax or something! Oh, I would feel so relieved, but also SO stupid - lol!

I just now looked at his and Julie Bell's blog, especially his bio and nothing. On their blog there's a post from a couple of days ago, so the blog is kept up.

No need to feel stupid. If indeed it was a hoax, you weren't alone in thinking it was true. Especially if there were artists' tributes. Maybe Boris himself started rumors to see who would make what tributes! ;-D
