I am desperately trying to come up with a Sneer version of the Battle Dress encounter from that episode but the problem is that they wouldn't have heard of each other, so Vetinari would have no reason to pretend not to be himself and wouldn't be investigating her in the first place...unless Roberta just got bored and decided to sic them on each other XDD

eh ive long thought that bobbi might have been doing a little bit of matchmaking when it came to the sneer, so havvie could loose his training wheels when it came to women. course it didnt quite turn out like shed hoped.

Oh that wouldn't surprise me. Considering the fact that she's got a fair bit of the charmingly manipulative thing going herself, she'd know that if Havvie wanted to get anywhere in politics he'd have to know how to recognise and resist and combat it. And who better to send him to than a good friend of hers who was intelligent enough to make things difficult for him - throwing him in at the deep end, as it were, in a relatively safe environment (safer than A-M politics at any rate) so that every seductive lady he had to face down from there onwards would be a cinch. However, I really don't think she was expecting the kind of...attachment they wound up forming...

Indeed, firstly becuase i think she geniuinly wants/wanted havvie to be happy, and lets face it havvie and margo's realtionship may be intense and very loving but its not happy. most of the time anyway. and secondly becuase a politically favorable marrige would have helped alot with some of the political stuff.

Mmmm, though I think she would have figured out from fairly young that it would be highly unlikely that Havvie would marry. With his amount of intensity and pretty much obsession with the job, he would need a lady who could amuse herself for 99% of the time and wouldn't whine about it, and would be interesting enough to keep him interested for the 1%. Margo's pretty much the only female character I can think of who fits that, apart from maybe Adora (but she wouldn't care enough about Havvie to bother with it simply because he wouldn't put in the effort. I think she secretly likes that Moist goes above and beyond to try and make her happy) or Granny Weatherwax (They're both too asexual for that to work anyway. There'd be no draw) or maybe Grace Speaker BUT WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT

Ehehehe yes - they'd invite him and Irene to afternoon teas and take them shopping with them as bonding-with-(grand)son/daughter-in-law time and Jawn would be really confused as to what's going on and Irene would happily promote the idea that they're in some sort of adorable domestic threesome XD
Also I think Havvie's reaction to finding out Margo is Grace Speaker would be really interesting to explore - because on one hand he's like woooow boner for dis lady she so clever and it makes him more attracted to her, but on the other hand...it would seem a lot like she was testing him, to see how he reacts to temptation, you know? And I really don't think he'd react at all positively to that...

mmmmm, half impressed and the other half upset/angry at the fact that she felt the need to test him in the first place.
margo herself just explains it as curiosity, trying to ignore the missgivings(that the only reason they have such a relationship is that she is that theyre the ones out there, if there was somone else, as intelligent, as attractive as her but without all the problems and baggage she comes with, would he still want her) that partly led her to do such a thing
either way i forsee some angry sex in that scneario

hoooo yes. And the sad thing is, that's pretty much the only way they can both switch off and ignore the complete lack of logic and intelligence that comes with being emotional about someone. Afterwards they still both feel shit because its not like they've resolved the issue or anything, but they feel slightly less afraid beasue they know that whatever they do, they'll sort it out together.

I really wanted to play about with Margo's skin because I always give up and just do her a vague slightly lighter peachy colour, but I spent ages fiddling around with filters and colours to get her a much more purpley/grey skintone instead of her just looking pale and making Havvie look really tanned
The only thing is...Havvie's legs are in it and I have the age old TO HAIR OR NOT TO HAIR?
