I was pretty obsessed with RENT in high school. Now I kinda just enjoy it for nostalgia's sake. But Essie and Peaches were based on Angel and Collins originally. :3

Fanfics feel really really weird for me, because for the first time I had to think "Am I being true to this character?" and I don't like that at all. I like doing whatever the hell I want. XD So it was an interesting exploration, but not one I wish to go through again.

I still write fanfics. For the sake of it. Because that's the only way Maria Petrakis from The Island is bound to live longer than she did. I read that book too many times. So yeah. But you're kind of right, that's annoying as hell.

Aww, that's wonderful. <3 That show is awesome. I actually don't even know if I've watched the first season. I liked the fourth season the best because of Sharon Needles, who hails from my city of Pittsburgh. She's awesome.

Three friends and I powered through the first season. It was amazing. All four of us were crying at one episode. Hahaha.

I'm watching the second season on my own, and the third with two friends. I'm loving JujuBee and Shangela. 

 Nina Flowers was amazing too. It's so good!

I also feel like I can appreciate Essie as a character even more than I already did- you portray her so well I might have to go re-read your stories again.

It's an amazing show. It's better than most model reality shows because not only is there a great deal of ethnic diversity, but body diversity as well. Fat girls and skinny girls get to compete together, and it's wonderful.  

My favorite part of RuPaul is the Snatch Game, because 8 out of 10 usually fail while the other two blow it out of the water. And I have yet to figure out why the queens with Spanish accents insist on doing non-Latina actresses. LEARN FROM OTHERS' MISTAKES, GIRLS.

Aww, thanks. Needless to say, Essie loves RuPaul. XD Even Peaches likes it. Because even with all the reality TV drama, in the end the show is about acceptance and having fun, and I'm all about that. (Also, I'm not sure how long ago you read the story, but I re-wrote the thing a year or two ago, so it's better now. )

I know! The message is just so fantastic, I can't find any faults with it.

The Snatch Game is hilarious, but I liked in season 2 when they were given old men to be their drag mothers. It was adorable.

I read the most recent version, I think. It takes me ages to read, though, because I hate reading on the computer screen. :C
