# About me
I'm one of those who draw, color and sometimes write because I must. I enjoy books, television and movies of most genres. I like older music the most and only occasionally enjoy a contemporary tune. I play Guitar just well enough. I'm a panelologist (collector of comic books). They were my early and longest art inspiration. I think that those in my circle would say that I'm a raconteur. Humor is important to me and I appreciate limericks [the ornery ones tend to be the funniest].Current Residence: Midwest
Favourite genre of music: Country
Favourite style of art: Realism/Surrealism/Fantasy
Favourite cartoon character: Stewie of THE FAMILY GUY
Personal Quote: I met a devil woman..took my heart away..said I had it comin' to me, said I wanted it that way

As a fellow western fan I'd like you opinion on this journal I've put together:
The Magnificent Seven: The first action movie!Who's excited to see the new Magnificent Seven movie?! I sure as hell am and will be seeing it this coming week. I've been a western fan since I was about 14 and have collected just about every worthwhile western movie ever made. Trust me, that's hundreds. It's interesting to see the evolution of the genre over the decades as they reflect as much about the time they were made as the era they portray. My rambling journal will have three parts. I'd like to explain the history of the genre, how it gave birth to the modern action movie and why the Magnificent Seven is an important development and hopefully the start of more western films.
The Wild WestΒ was a period so unique in history that it was being mythologised as it occurred. The cult of celebrity was strong as east coast city dwellers longed for tales of adventure and danger on the frontier. Custer, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp and Wild Bill were all living legends in their own lifetimes. In fact, it may be suggested

Your suggestion for a drawing of Sally and Burt in the Trans Am is something I may well create at some point. Β I have several things that I'm interested/inspired to draw. Β I just don't have the time/focus. Β I haven't submitted any new art on this site in about a year. Β I rarely even visit this site anymore. Β It's likely that some other artist may produce a drawing such as you suggested before I manage to find the time. My art has been neglected and I miss it.

OK, about Sally Field's ''Frog'' character posing her soles on the ''Trans-Am'' dashboard with ''Bandit'' driving from the very first ''Smokey and the Bandit'' movie, r u gonna continue focusing on the ''Frog'' soles pose on the dashboard work??

Hello Harold, r u still thinking about the request on ''Sally Field''s character ''Frog'' resting both of her barefeet on the dash of a ''Trans-Am'' from the first ''Smokey & the Bandit'' movie, if u finish on doing other things, r u still be available for the ''Frog resting her barefeet in the Trans-Am dashcam'' while ''Bandit'' still chasing from the law from ''Smokey & the Bandit'' to post it in your ''Newest Deviations'' page so I can find it if u have time to ''DeviantArt'' it??

A friend has commissioned me to draw a family portrait for him, and I told him that with my work and several other matters I have to attend to, it's gonna be months at best before I can produce the portrait. Β I have so much to deal with presently, that I don't get much time for art--even for a commission. Β My art is currently, unfortunately, a lesser priority. Β I hope over the next several months to get productive again, but it takes time and focus.
