Will Brooks is a freelance designer based in Cardiff Bay. His main work is Doctor Who-based, and previous clients have included Big Finish Productions and BBC Worldwide. Currently, Will provides photo cover variants for Titan Comics’ range of monthly Doctor Who titles.It doesn’t have to include a TARDIS to be something Will can work on, however, so please feel free to message if you want to discuss possible commissions.

This is kind of funny but I stumbled upon your site via a cover I had not seen before. Than I saw all these Doctor Who comic covers and I'm thinking "all this guy does is rip off Doctor Who comic covers, how's that art?" Then I read your bio and I can't believe my luck in finding the guy who does all of the covers on my comic books! I'm sad that you're going to be switching to the C and D covers but I do buy them occasionally when they're good enough which means that you may cost me a lot of money!

I should be sticking with cover 'B' most of the time, as far as I know. I've just started on the next couple of batches, which will see out 2017 and into 2018. Some really great stories to come

Oh good, because I love your covers. I have a question for you. How come the cover art most of the time has absolutely nothing to do with the actual story in the book? For example the awesome cover you did for The Tenth Doctor May '17 COVER B 3.4 there's an Ood, a Weeping Angel and an Adipose on that cover but the story, sadly, has nothing to do with any of them. Why do they do that? It's almost cruel!

It usually comes down to deadlines - I produce the covers around six months before they hit the shelves, So often the stories aren't even written when I finish up the cover art. Sometimes we're able to plan ahead, but often we go for something general.
I'd love to read a team up of Ood, Angels, and Adipose, though!
