I dislike it (obviously) because it's not good writing. Furthermore I'd compare it to Twilight in the writing department. It's shitty, requires no real thought, and it was unnecessary. Putting sparkles on it isn't going to make it better.
Also, what does it say about a company that can't or rather won't keep their characters? Characters that their consumers have come to care for, have a fanbase or not. Even crappy characters don't deserve what Lian and Roy (Kon, Bart, Ted or Jack Drake- that's right DC some of us are still bitter about those) got. In the end it just seems like there can only be one stereotypical "super" hero and that goes against one of the points of the whole idea doesn't it? That there are many reasons, details and unique ways that a person would be compelled to become a hero.

That being said, what does DC have against the Titans anyways? Seriously, there are many beloved characters that have been or still are Titans and it's sad to see so many of them abused in such hateful manners.

I can only wonder what DC thinks of it's readers for having put it out there, apparently none of us are intelligent, thoughtful or loving beings...
