Oooh, from what i can understand, i think what you call quarters, here in England we call terms xD At the end of each term, and half way through each term (half-terms) we'll have 1-2 weeks off lessons. Then usually in January and May-June we'll sit our exams (:

It sounds like a lot of effort going into that portal gun! I bet it'll look amazing by the time its ready for Comic-Con

And everythings okay over here thanks I've just finnished my Film Studies exam, and i have maths and english exams this week, but it'll be a relief when they're over and i can just relax
Im also considering going to London Film and Comic Con this year, but it depends on whether i can get the day off work and get there (: And in other news i've just been introduced to Supernatural- i bought the first 4 seasons on DVD. Ive watched Season 1 now, but the others will be something to look forward to watching over the summer holidays (:

No worries! I know I've been super busy with calculus and my other engineering classes. (This quarter, I got to do things like pour molten aluminum and weld metal!) This Christmas, the majority of my list consists of Portal 2 stuff (like a plush turret that makes sounds!). How about you?

Oh and on an unrelated note, I introduced my cousins to Doctor Who and now they're hooked! I feel so proud

I got a load of Doctor Who related stuff- but going for a trip to London in October( i think i mentionned it before... im not sure xD) to meet Matt, Arthur and Karen was a large proportion of it xD

Oh good!!! The more Doctor Who fans there are in the universe, the better xD I cant wait until series 7- what do you think of the pictures/news released so far?

Well I'm glad you're back on DA. I've been really busy too, so no worries! Yup! I got pretty much all the portal things that were on my Christmas list, which made me very happy! And speaking of of Portal, I'm working on building a game-accurate portal gun! It'll have all the bells and whistles, including lights and sound! It won't shoot portals though (apparently that's a physical impossibility ) So far my father and I have been working on it every weekend, and we're almost done painting, which included many, many layers of primer and TONS of sanding! I'm also taking pictures along the way so others can build a gun like it. I heard that NECA is making a licensed portal gun, but mine will be much higher quality . I'm soooooo jealous that you'll be meeting the DW gang in London! I'm hoping that I might get to see them if they come to San Diego Comic-Con this July, but the schedule won't be released 'till a few weeks beforehand.

As for what I think of the new series, I'm so sad that Arthur and Karen are leaving! :iconcryingforeverplz: I love them so much! I don't know anything about the new companion, but I trust that Moffat has a plan (devious, I'm sure). No matter what happens, I look forward to it!

And of course- the NECA made portal guns will be mass produced and therefore lower in quality- yours will technically be one of a kind the product of LOADS of hard work Its going to look brilliant, im sure xD
Oh no, i met them already xD Of course i'd love to see them again, they were in such a rush i didnt get a picture with them, but maybe another time And that soudns awesome! Make sure you take loads of pictures from San Diego Comic-Con

Im sad that Karen and Arthur are leaving too- they were such great companions xD I've not seen the new companion in anything either, but i assume she's good- Mr Moffat wouldnt have cast someone if he thought they'd let the show down xD
