actually no, but in high school I took quite a few photography classes. It was really fun and something I'll never forget doing.

I go to Edinboro University, in PA.. If you want to go to a good, relatively cheap school for photography... I just visited Columbia College of Chicago, and cried a little because their facilities were so good, compared to Edinboro at least. Art Institutes are usually incredibly over-priced and my impression is that you don't really get a well-rounded education.

yeah I think I'm going to travel around for a bit and find out where I want to settle down for a bit and go to school and then find a school in the area. I'll most likely end up going to a local school, but I really want to go to the best school possible because I want to eventually work for national geographic as a photo journalist so I'll need to have a good school under my belt.

Haha good luck getting into NG... That's like 3/4 of everyone in our photo department's dream. They use film.. I think they shoot about 1500 rolls per assignment. I'm pretty sure they're slowly moving into digital photography, though. It's not really the school that matters, it's your portfolio...
I'm a junior at Edinboro. I'm a photo major... and considering double-majoring in painting or psychology, and minoring in art history and/or music.. lol I've never written it out before... I'll figure out what else I'm doing this semester.

i'll probably still go to an art institute or investigate the best colleges for photojournalism so it will help me get into where I want to go. because i am aware that it's mostly based on your portfolio, but a good college name does help.

I know it's been a while since i've gotten on here....kind of been outa the game for a while. I was having a hard stressfull period but school is fixing to start up so I'm hoping to get back in myself again soon. i've taken a few pictures already, but you should expect a lot from me really soon.

I know, I know....I've totally been slacking in a very bad way. BUTT I have a good excuse....I thought school would be a lot easier than it is, but turns out I have to make up last years credits and do this years credits if I want to graduate on time so I'm super busy. So for now I guess I'm going to keep posting recent photos I take of myself and a few I take indoors, unfortunately I don't have time to go on walks anymore

yea.. actually i totally know what your going through as I'm also going to hopefully graduate this year ! and photography is certainly time consuming... soo hopefully once we'll both be done,we can celebrate and enjoy life a lil bit more heh ?
