So Wix thinks it smart and changes the license terms on 27th feb. No more talk about sublicensing. But hey we sheeple are stupid right? While going through the whole new TOS word by word close to the end now it states in
14.6 Assignment
Wix may assign its rights and/or obligations hereunder and/or transfer ownership rights and title in the Wix Services and/or Licensed Content to a third party without your consent or prior notice to you. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights and obligations hereunder without the prior written consent of Wix. Any attempted or actual assignment thereof without Wix’s prior explicit and written consent will be null and void. In any event, an assignment or transfer pursuant to this Section 13.6 shall not in itself grant either Wix or you the right to cancel any Wix Services or Third Party Services then in effect.
So how is this different from sub-licencing? In effect it means that Wix its right to use your art may be assigned to third parties without your consent or notice.
