I felt the same way you do, I couldnΒ΄t eat or sleep, I looked a frigginΒ΄ zombie, and yes, ready to kill myself, in fact I sorta tried that once...
But I realized it wasnt normal that I felt that way, etc. so I went to psychiatric, and he gave some antidepressants (lexapro), it took me a month to make effect -the worst month in my life- but everything is almost fine now, I said almost because those are pills an its not temporaly but it helps a LOT.
So, try to reconsider it, its a good choice.
