1. What if I drew a picture that was drawn over a cut scene. But it's been COMPLETELY drawn and slightly different? For example: [link]

We prefer that you do not draw over a cut scene, but you may draw over your own drawings that you scanned in.

If I understood that correctly, yes. If you replace that published background with one that you drew yourself, it will be acceptable.

Would a picture that is using pictures from a trailer for a game, gameplay, or from the cutscenes from a cut scene, but have been taken your self. Oh well. Thanks for the reply, I thought you were never gonna answer. Anyway I don't think I could enter anyway. If I came in one of the top three I couldn't receive my prizes. Cause I don't have a credit card to get the money. Maybe the other stuff yeah. But I do plan on whipping something up of Shadow based off the lyrics to "Fade To Black" by Metallica.

I have a question about the size requirements for your contest. I'm not quite sure if I know how to change my picture into a higher resolution. Also, I don't really know what a dpi is or how to keep my picture in a 1.6 aspect ratio. Could you explain that please?

you should be able to change it in photo show under the edit>imagesize.
Keep in mind that if you are just enlarging your photo, the quality of the image will be very pixelated. So you should be working in high resolution to begin with.

Just a quick question 'bout the contest: Can the entry contain multiple characters from the SAME series? For example, Final Fantasy VI characters with Final Fantasy VII characters?

multiple characters are fine, but make sure they don't cross-over. Do only FF7 or FF6, not both.

I think we would still consider that a crossover just because they have different storylines. We would like entries that focus on a VG character contained within one game (not a series).
You can submit one of each, one character from FFVII and one from FFVI instead of having them both in one picture.
