Well, it would nice if he got an epilogue to this whole crazy mess. I mean, if I win I'll probably just request that, but it would be nice to see HIM at least be one of characters that got closure, considering how far he came. But that's up to you ultimately.

Haha, yea, his guard would be up. A food that his wife made... I really hadn't thought of one yet, but I looked up something that I think works, even got you a recipe. You can give or take on the ingredients. I don't care. I didn't make the recipe. I'm thinking "Koda's wife starting making this, because it was one of his favorites when he trained in Australia".

BTW, what's the deal with Koda's scar?. Lori's got one too, and I was hoping to get into it if was up against Erin, but SOMEONE had to go and beat her.

Lol jk. Anyway, the scar's something I've been curious about since I read the profile, and if there's anything you want to know about hers, feel free to ask.

Also, would it be okay if I used Koda in one of the spectator entries I do as prologue to the next match? Like give them some more interaction before they find out they're fighting each other in the culinary arts as opposed to the martial.

Go ahead with the spectator entry. You can use Koda whenever you need to. You really don't have to ask unless it's crazy like he's killing someone. lol

At one of his earlier fights, he had an opponent (Aran) that couldn't stand losing. The fight was close, and Koda barely managed to win, just by a few points. Aran later came at him after the fight with a knife (a pocketknife or something easy to get ahold of). He was disqualified from the whole tournament, and he wasn't seen at the next few fights. Aran had been known to have a bad temper and be overly violent in other fights he had been in, so no one was really surprised that he went after Koda. The scar came from a misstep from Koda when Aran came after him.

She had worked at an orphanage in North Carolina, took over running it once the original owners (and elderly couple) died. She got her B.S. in social work before she started here. She and Koda had met several years before when they were ages 19/20. She was in college. He was dropping out of college. He was too focused on his martial arts to stay in school. They stayed friends and exchanged e-mails off and on over the years. Koda traveled but continued to "live" in North Carolina when he wasn't out of the country. He and Sherry started dating about a year after they met (20/21). They were engaged on Koda's 24th birthday. The month after his 25th birthday, they found out she was pregnant with their first child. Koda was back in college by then since was no longer going to fight.

- same place he lives now. It's a cramped little apartment, but it worked for the 2 of them. They were going to move closer to when the baby was going to be born.

- Murray was a friend of Koda's back in high school. They were best friends, getting into trouble around town. Though Murray was never one to join in martial arts, he always cheered Koda on and he tried to help him in training when he could. They were going to the same college together (or at least planned to) before Koda met Sherry. The two stayed in contact even after Koda dropped out.

- Murray:
Age 26, Caucausian
Kinda plump and a little shorter than Koda
Short dark brown hair, almost non-existent
Tends to either wear a nice suit and tie or a nice shirt and jeans
He works as a salesman for a local car company. He's good at what he does. He went to college and got a bachelor degree in business, but he hasn't done much with it yet.

Okay, awesome. Also, I've decided to do my entry from Koda's point of view (if that's okay), so I'd like to know what his opinion of Lori is, so I can portray his reactions to her right. I know I kinda forced them to interact without your permission, but his actual opinion of her is up to you.

And since Koda's a former fighter, I assume he's gotten injured quite a lot. Has he ever used pain medication, such as vicodin, to heal? And if so, how often? I'm sure he never gained an addiction, but it may be plausible he gained a tolerance for its effects.

And here's a summary of what I have in mind for my entry: When they enter the kitchen, Lori calmly questions what info about the Slates (who she has history with) she can get out of Koda. After she gets what she wants, she tranqs him, then shoves a handful of painkillers down his throat (not to the point of choking him though), and causes him to go into a hazy hallucination in which he is back at his apartment back with his wife. He drifts between memories, and is eventually fed his favorite meal by her, and begins to feel weaker than before. His wife tells him it will be alright, and she will take care of everything, kissing him goodbye as he loses conscience. The hallucination turns out to have been manipulated by Lori, who impersonated his wife in his hazed state and poisoned the meal after he told her about it when the talked in between rounds 2 and 3 (that one specator entry I mentioned that I WILL POST ONE OF THESE DAYS). Lori then awaits the Associates arrival to retrieve Koda.

What do you think? And maybe you can tell me if I'm making any huge stretches about the painkiller thing.

And sorry to hear about how crazy your life is right now. I hope your friends and dog's puppy are alright, and that you feel better, since the only thing there I can relate too is getting sick.

Yea, it sounds good Dave. The painkiller thing isn't too far off. I don't know much about poisons anyway. lol

His opinion of Lori would be kind of mixed. On one hand killing the child would make her an enemy in his mind, but it's hard to make him hate you. It's more like he'd hate what you did... unless you're a certain crazy teenage girl who jumped off a cliff. He'd be more confused at why she had done it then actually turning that confusion into anger.

Okay, cool. Hopefully the last question before I actually get to work on this damn thing: My Spectator entry has a scene in which Koda suddenly leaves his room for...the bathroom? I dunno something generic. In the hallway, he runs into Lori and they chat for a bit. What would be going through his mind before he got up to go? Memories of his wife? His goal being so close in sight? Something like that?

It's kind of hard to find out what stuff will knock you out without killing you. That's kind of what Koda would want to do, but I just don't see that happening easily. All the stuff they gave us so far is too deadly.

Koda's mind would most likely wander into the realm of insecurity, not too far but just a little. If he's thinking about his goal then the idea that he might not be able to succeed will come into play. There's also the idea that he won't be able to go through with poisoning someone. And the fact that he can't cook worth shit. That could be a very big thought. How's he going to when when he can't even do the simplest part?
He might think of his wife, but it's going to be in tidbits more than a whole part. At this point in time, he's going to be scrounging for anything he remembers that might help him. Getting too emotional won't help.
