Hi 0007metroid,
I had hoped there'd be more comments on this piece before I chimed in. This work caught my eye because it reminded me of a college piece I'm still fond of to this day. Our assignment was to receive one square a week to transfer and paint; the final image was a portrait of ourself. This piece has that flavor and I like the fact that your work takes on a different texture for each sq. This adds interest to the piece. And while I feel that it might have been a more personal work had you chosen one texture style for the whole piece, it may not hold the intrigue it currently has. That said,I hope you are settling into your educational surroundings and not feeling too alienated; and that you can squeeze in the ocassional post of a new work now and again.

Thank you for your input! Actually the point of the assignment was to use a variety of patterns to create value. Also stippling is TORTURE!!!!
