It's among the benefits of all the fires--the great, red/orange sunsets and sunrises. One day--we shall not live to see it, i think though--the scars of the fires won't even be noticable.

Beautifully shot, Edie

its all over ours.. fires breaking out all over from sparks being carried in front by the wind.. it was about 3 miles from Colorado Springs proper at 6am very bad indeed

It's really a lot of areas.. I hope they get some rain or some other kind of miracle to help slow them down

our company just left from lunch so I dont know what happened today but hubby showed me the paper this morning of a neighborhood and in both blocks the homes were burnt to the ground and 2 homes remained standing beside each other. How does that happen?

theres always freaky stuff like that.. sometimes it's the roofing material.. I know when California had major fires years back.. a whole neighborhood went like that except two houses that had tile roofs...they survived.. news said things a little bit better today.. less wind.. able to get a bit more progress on the fire lines..but still bad

and I know those people are feeling guilt but they shouldnt, its just the way it goes. Firefighting something I never wanted to do and that's up there with being a gynecologist!
