tis a snail... not so sure about the focus on this one. i really liked the angle, but my focus was a bit off i think... so i figured it work with it, use it as a mood. did it work?Related content

So beautiful! Looking at the background, the focus is fine! Macro just gives you such a narrow DOF. The only parts of the snail that are out of focus are the foremost antenna and the bottom part of the body that's furthest from the lens.

if i had a DSLR with a proper macro lens i could just use a really narrow aperture and get the whole thing in focus (snails are slow enough for that to work, i think)

Even if the snail would be going too fast, the resulting blur would make for quite the comic piece.

i do, actually. ive been messing with macro lately and have become addicted... though im rather sad to say i accidentally layed on top of one when i was taking this, so when i got up my shirt was covered in snail guts and mud... poor snail
