Oh, I remember Dances With Wolves. Back when people didn't hang their heads in disappointment at Kevin Costner's work. Heheh! My sister used to cry 'Tatanka!' whenever she encountered something she couldn't figure out. T'was very funny.

LOL When we were in Yellowstone we would say, "There's a Tatanka!" and people would be looking at us weird like 'What?' LOL
I like watching that movie, I can say most of the lines they say in Sioux, it took me awhile to learn. I would like to learn even more, I am going to try and find a teaching class that teaches the Sioux language, I'm curious to learn it.

Cool. Lesse Eskimo? We need more Eskimo presence in dA. If an Eskimo supermodel ever placed a pinup of herself on her site, I'd buy a print soooo fast!

No, I'm not an Eskimo, I am half Shoshone I do believe, I'll have to check my Mother's family book to be sure.

LOL, yeah it took her forever to cross the highway. I painted her, except I changed the back ground painting Old Faithful. I didn't think it would turn out good, but it did. Thanks!

Thanks! I took this picture inside the car, we were go home to our camper trailer near fishing bridge camp sites. It is such a beautiful park, you just have to be there to see it all because photos can not capture that beauty.

Yeah, I went there once, but I was only about 6 I think. Back then I was more fascinated by the water that shot out of the ground and bubbled on it's own than anything else.

lol thats funny, the buffalo are such a pain sometimes in yellowstone, i remember we were in a jam for like 2 hours cause people were stoping, getting out of there cars, and walking up to the buffalo. I was like your going to get gored lol. This is such a cool shot. LOL it just makes me laugh how people have to wait for those things to cross. This bull is huge though. Once again great shot

I think it's a girl buffalo, because her horns are curved and males aren't curved, I heard about it on the channel 13 learning program about buffalos. I heard stories about people walking up to a buffalo, thinking they are like cows, and being gored infront of their own family members, it's sad what people do when they are not thinking straight and they end up dead. When the buffalos were around I stayed in my car or in a gift shop. My family and I had a wonderful time there, we saw baby moose and momma moose, black bears and grizzlies, elk and we almost saw a family of wolves, they had just taken an elk down, but we saw them on someones camera. I would love to go back again and this time stay in the Old Faithful Inn.

Sounds like alot of fun, i saw a grizzly from about a mile away with binoculars lol. I just guessed it was a bull because of the extra skin under its neck. But your probably right, its probably a girl. I would like to go back again someday, theres so many beautiful animals there
