Yeah, I think the one that reminded me most of a dreamcatcher was "feathered catcher of dreams II". I loved to make those things when I was a kid. I think my mom still has one on the cabinet next to her bed.
But those projections all around the thing do remind me of those feathers you attach to your dreamcatcher. XD And there's nothing like a little odd language to make things more interesting (I'm naturally attracted to anything around "franglais").

Dream catchers are based on the Native American tradition of hanging a symbolic web over a sleeping person to protect him or her from bad dreams. A dream catcher consists of a circular wooden hoop containing a handcrafted web design with a center hole. The bottom of the hoop features two or more dangling feathers. Hung above the dreamer, the dream catcher filters dreams from the night air, letting only the good dreams or important messages through.
Dreamcatchers have evolved, and contain more feathers, as well as other materials. Mine are pretty stylized....being constructed in Apo.....but retain the overall shape and concept!

That was enormously helpful and interesting, Anita. Thank you for going to all the trouble of explaining it to me. I had a notion that it had to do with a Native American custom, but I couldn't remember what. Now I know! I think your renders are very similar to the description you provided.
Wish I had a dream catcher of my own....I have too many bad dreams!
