I have one doll that I miss... I don't know what happened to her, but she was a first year cabbage patch kid and my grandfather stood in line to make sure I would get her for Christmas that year. That's the main reason I miss her, because I miss my grandfather too.

Oh the ethereal atmosphere is sublime! Beautifully manipulated, and the message, superbly conveyed. From baby doll to young woman and on it goes..for eternity. I do sometimes long for the days when my children were young- just to have them so close and to nurture and hold them, but I understand they must grow and fly on their own. Still have that nesting desire though. if i were healthy and strong enough, I'd love to do it all over again. Emotive and excellent work, my friend.

Oh I love the atmosphere and sentiments in this! How many of us have discarded dolls and never mourned them...
For me, I mourn the fact that I never ever had a teddy bear as a child - so when I bought a beautiful fluffy, cuddly one for my daughter, and she discarded it - unwanted!!!
