What would you do if someone asked you to help, and then told you they were going to die?Well new page, sorry it took so long, but good news I'll be getting DA back for my comp within a few weeks, so updates will be faster, hopefully.. but enjoy! ^^
btw, I just LOVE how Maru looks in the bottom pannel! I'm very proud of it!

Ahh that's the old version. I canceled the original black and white version. Now it's in full color! It's the same story, but with some changes to make the story more cohesive and no cameos anymore. I couldn't keep track of them all and would like to one day publish my comic. You can read the remake hereΒ legendofthemoonrw.smackjeeves.β¦

It's the same story. Just improved art, removed magical attacks and no cameos. And cohesive story. Maru is still in it, so is James, Tsuki, Killer, and all my characters.Β

The style in black and white was in ginga style, I decided for my own benefit as an artist to use my own style rather than copy someone else's. Yoshihiro Takahashi was a big inspiration, however I needed to evolve as an artist. I go towards a more semi realistic style nowadays rather than super stylistic. And if you're judging based upon the earlier colored pages keep in mind there are literally year gaps between some of them, as life has not been particularly kind to me. Thank you for your opinion, you're fine to have it. However I am proud of what I have put out and how I have evolved. I'm sad that my more recent pges have been so spaced out, but life is life and it's not always adhering to the needs of an artist. I wanted the dogs to look more like dogs, not like Yoshihiro's stylized dogs who are in my opinion looking a bit more like cats now a days. I just hope you enjoy the story despite your dislike of my personal style.Β

It's been told to me you are a troll and you have been reported. Please stop commenting, I've already said I do not care about your opinion as it is MY stylistic choices and I am proud with what I have put out. If you honestly think my anatomy was better 7 years ago then fine, and DUH I said I DON'T want to do Ginga style. I'm doing my own thing and I like it. My style is my style and I won't second guess myself for some random person on the internet. I'm 25 and have had real criticisms and hard times. I've had to make presentations and put my work out into public and peer review. So yeah if you just don't like my work or think it looks wrong that is YOUR OPINION, and I simply do not care. My last LOTMRW page I put out I am so proud of! TO me my anatomy work has come a long way, and I can actually paint a decent background now. My black and white days of LOTM are far behind me and I'm not going back. Maybe one day I'll do another work in manga style but it will be my way. Not someone else's.
BTW I think your dogs are plain ugly, and I don't support nazism. Your muzzles are wrong, do your canines even have canines? Where are the shoulders? Your lines are super thick and you only draw two out of 4 toes? DO they have bones? Practice some more you'll get there. I won't read it, but do what you want. *laughs* you really are a troll who is self imposed and really needs to stop projecting onto other people. Because dude, that's just sad.Β
