Description This was taken at Baltimore Aquarium. I don't know what the subject matter is. They seem to be a kind of jellyfish, but I may be wrong and they could be fungi instead.

I really could not tell what it is tho but it caught my eye!
Well done :>

Kind of similar to the jellyfish, I guess! Further confusion probably lies in the rotation of the piece.

I've been to the Baltimore Aquarium!

I don't know what this is, but I'd still guarantee you it isn't fungus, considering how fungus typically grows. This stuff is surely some kind of animal. And it's beautiful.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

3wyl In reply to ToddNTheShiningSword [2016-05-21 12:03:01 +0000 UTC]

Awesome!

It could be an animal...I should have taken a shot of the species name. It's probably a good idea to do that when I'm at the zoo.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ToddNTheShiningSword In reply to 3wyl [2016-05-21 14:40:06 +0000 UTC]

I'm positive this is an animal.

Can you simply tag the photo with the name also instead? I mean, I just get lost behind all the features up-to-date technology has, so considering I'm like that already, I'm slightly worried of how I'll be like when I'm old. But yeah would that be more convenient?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

3wyl In reply to ToddNTheShiningSword [2016-05-28 16:00:32 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps it is!

I don't know if one can tag the photo with the name also...It depends on the device. I know on the iPhone, it records the location you took the photograph, but that's not the case with a D-SLR yet.

That would be quite cool, though. Maybe they will invent it later. Alternatively, one can just take a shot of the tag.

Surreal fairytale land
Can imagine mermaids getting hairornaments here or if it would be a miniature picture ...maybe its a mermaid kingdom

3wyl In reply to Whobleyh [2016-05-14 14:43:21 +0000 UTC]

That's a pretty cool way of looking at things! It would be pretty interesting if it was related to mermaids in some way.

I like the Baltimore aquarium. I suppose these are jelly fish or possibly anemones or sea urchins or..I don't know- you took the picture! But, they look really cool!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

3wyl In reply to jules-101 [2015-08-29 14:14:20 +0000 UTC]

Something like that, yes!

I have a bad habit of snapping and not noting down what I'm snapping of.

Thank you very much!

Oh, I do the same thing. Even worse, I forget the names of people in my photos! Jelly fish or whatever won't care much, but people- that's far worse

I like how you've got the little jelly-thingies seemingly reaching out towards the other side, kind of like flowers facing the sun. Then there's perfectly placed black-red guy about half way up, as if it's broken free from the crowd and is about to make 'it' - lovely composition I also think the layering is pretty nice - the way the background is bokeh'd out and somewhat grey, then an in-focus pink zone leading back to a gray. Perfect use of a vignette (if you used one?) Β

3wyl In reply to Kamal-Q [2015-07-25 15:53:13 +0000 UTC]

That's quite an interesting way of seeing it.

I didn't use a vignette. Didn't need one.

Red onions may be the key for me there.

I don't think I've been taking too long to sleep nowadays?

I didn't use a vignette. Didn't need one.

The only appropriate emoticon to use after that sentence would have been
So its easier for you to fall asleep now? Snoring loudly quickly then?

Sometimes it is easier, but I get awoken many times during the night.

I never snore.
