Definitely best with the original audio. This moment was incredibly emotional for me too. I don't feel that Skyward Sword handled Fi's development well, because I felt like this scene came out of nowhere, but the scene itself... jesus. @_@

As sad as the ending was, it was nice to see that, even though she was asleep, that she'd been with the various descendants of her old master the moment the Master Sword was pulled out of the pedestal at the Temple of Time in OoT, the Sacred Grove in TP, and the Lost Woods in AlttP.
Although it does add more bitterness to the flavor Wind Waker already presents in terms of the companionship Fi has.

She's so automaton. It's funny to experience "robotic behavior" in a Legend of Zelda game.
I've haven't played Skyward Sword just yet. Probably never will.
