lol, I know when I paint or draw my best work comes after I've gotten frustrated because my idea wasn't working and I decided to just do something random as a change of pace...it's kind of weird...and annoying

i agree! when i draw something rough on a regular sheet of paper as a sketch it turns out ok (cuz i didnt try hard to make it right ) and when i get serious about it there's always something i could improve :/
conclusion: switching off brain helps!
