I therefore conclude that in every comic with male wardens, there should be a shirtless-chopping-wood scene.

(LOL. I noticed that it is. Didn't mean that. Dx By all means, any warden could chop wood. Shirtless. XD)

Indeed, especially since ordinary things can be done shirtless. Shirtless chopping of ogres probably isn't the best idea XD

I'm with you. That's what I did that Awakening epilogue, I coudn't imagine Zevran waiting for the warden to come back, if he loved him/her so much and heard about the fall of the Vigil... I guess Bioware did it for technical issues (too many options there) but it was lame and disappointing.

or maybe they wouldn't put Zevran, Leliana and Alistair in awakening because Morrigan wasn't avaiable no matter what and Alistair would have been unavaible if king. Else, the didn't want to put romanceable characters because "the story wouldn't fit romance", the atmosphere is darker so make put romanceable characters in the expansion would have sidetracked the player, dunno.
Also, I have read a response about romanceable characters in DAII, I don't remember who said something like "There is something but DAII will be a fantasy RPG not a date simulator", so I think they made one step back on that front...

Definitely. Some of us were hooked just because of how good romance is in this game...

I think it adds something to the game, the same I realize the game is not about that... I would be disappointed if they wouldn't put romantic options in game or if they put them only on not recruitable NPCs (like in Fable) por if they treat it differently. Don't get me wrong, I realize DA is a fantasy RPG and the main plot is more important that romantic subplots, BUT I really believe that romance adds a lot to the game immersion.
