 Robert E. Howard - endangering species one Weird Tale at a time since 1925! 

 On a more serious note, Master Papakhian please allow me to congratulate you once again upon producing as fine a sketch of the Puritan Powerhouse as any I have seen; I must say that from sword-swinging hero to beautifully sun-dappled lost city to ferocious fang-filled simian sentinels this might very well be the most perfect epitome of Mr Howard's fiction that I have yet beheld.

 Except for the unconscionable lack of scantily-clad wantons, but I suppose one must be struggling amidst the toils and tribulations of a VERY hairy situation indeed just 'off-camera' (so to speak), although I suspect she's more likely to go home with that mightily-moustachioed musketeer than Master Solomon after the dust settles.

Howard's heroes are very memorable and a real pleasure to illustrate. Solomon Kane stands near the top of the pantheon, so I'm sure to return to him maybe with a chaste puritan maiden in tow.

 Given this is Solomon Kane of whom we speak, that lady might well remain chaste and never be caught with such an upright fellow to safeguard both her Honour as well as her Person.

Solomon Kane never did get much attention from the fans. The scene is pretty much what his adventures tended to be like.
