I was through in Aberdeen today for my sister's 21st; we ended up stuck there for a good 4 hours so I started this speedie. Finished it off tonight - probably about 8 hours total.PSCS4
EDIT: Fixed some of the contrast issues.

Why thank you! I used a whole bunch in this one; generally I rough out using a simple charcoal brush, then layer texture using more complicated ones where required. The main brushes I use belong to Whit Brachna, M@ (from ConceptArt.org), and I-Net Grafx. I don't really like overusing them, but for speedies like this they can really help to define texture quickly.

Goodness knows, there are so many overlaid and integrated textures in this thing I can't even remember what's there haha - definitely put some odd shapes in the sky!

There's something magical in this. Mood is just amazing, composition in nice, brushstokes are top notch and I love the colors. Values might be a bit too dark here and there, but overall I think this is one of your strongest paintings.
