Haleos was born in a pack that praised their large horns and special powers. The bigger the horns, the more intricate, the more powerful they were. Haleos was considered the runt, having been born abnormal from the rest, a horn staying a nub throughout his childhood. Since he was unable to unlock his powers at a young age, he became susceptible to demon possession, and to become stronger, Haleos accepted this fate. His horn doesn't grow unless he is enraged and the demon takes over. He's rather quiet, mostly observant, but he will talk when talked to. Apprehensive to letting people in, Haleos continues along, often wandering from place to place as a lone wolf, having been kicked from his pack once they found out about his dealings with the demon. He has a birth mark on his face as well as a split chin, a result of a fight with his pack leader.

He loves to listen to music and carries around an abandoned mp3 player he stumbled across one day. He finds it fascinating, as music and singing was never part of his culture or how he grew up and it's a totally new territory for him.
He doesn't have a specific genre he likes, he listens to the radio on the mp3 player itself and has memorized the track lists if they are frequent for those stations.
