Testing out Open Canvas; quick painting (about 30 min?) of Tsukasa from D'espairsRay.. I think! lol, tell me if I'm horribly mistaken. Photoref used. I like this program, I suggest everyone tries it.Edit: neatened up in Photoshop (hides, I don't like to mutilate my speed paintings... but...), so add another 20 onto that working time.

ZOMG, TSUKASAAA!!!!!!! ^__^, i got to see d'espairs ray last friday. hes drumming skills are just AMAZING!!! He's my favorite out of the whole band, but i love the others too, especially karyu! ok, iam going off topic, but you did a really good job of capturing tsukasa. love the eyes!!

It looks nice at first glance, however, there's a trick to seeing how much attention someone puts into a piece. Gamers often have a button on their monitor that can change the brightness on their monitor to 4x and more of the standard brightness. By doing that, it shows aaallll the brush strokes in the darkest areas of the painting. I use it as a way to proof check my own stuff. I'd suggest you find some way to do the same.
Without that, however, the picture is done quite well ^_^! Lovely hair style and I'm quite fond of the way you worked the background. I just simply suggest you find some way to increase the brightness of your monitor to see what I'm talking about! A lot of things become apparent when you do O:

Nope, you're not mistake, he is Tsukasa ^^. I knew it was him in the thumbnail, you did an amazing job on this for doing it in such a sort amount of time. He looks like his could use more hair in the back of his head though o.o;... I really like the highlights on his clothing and his face.
