I don't know where this came from. And Peanuts-stitchpunks make another appearance.IPSWICH, STOP BOTHERING LAPIS.
In the top image he's probably raving about his favorite fairytales - ones involving tiny people. He is convinced that the aforementioned tiny people, regardless of what they're called in the story, are stitchpunks like them unless it is specified otherwise that they aren't. He mostly shrugs off or just flat-out ignores instances where eating and drinking are mentioned.
His favorite story is Thumbelina. Even though he has yet to meet any stitchpunk that's as tiny as she's described as being. Being no bigger than someone's thumb is pretty small even by stitchpunk standards.
I also get the impression that Ipswich would be a little too into Lapis's beads. He might even try to steal them if they were easier to steal. Such as being in spots that wouldn't be noticed the second he started to try an attempt at making off with any of them.
WHY AM I EVEN DRAWING THESE TWO TOGETHER. I MAY HAVE DESIGNED LAPIS, BUT I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HER INTENDED PERSONALITY IS LIKE. I AM SORRY JJ.

........ Ipswitch would have his mind totally blown if he ever met any real humans. If he loves Thumbelina so much then compared to humans they ARE the Thumbelinas. Or at least aren't much bigger. If you're not careful you're going to give me an Ipswitch headcanon where he develops conspiracy theories about humans a la Ancient Aliens.
SWEET PRECIOUS BABUS!!! I love it so dang much, both the Peanuts version and your own stylised versions!! Y'know it just occurred to looking at this that the Peanutpunks have pupils the same shape and colour as their regular pupils 
((BTW, have you ever seen the Youtube channel InTheLittleWood? The guy who runs it, Martyn, has a real thing for lapis lazuli blocks in Minecraft and every time he finds some he's all "OH MY GOD IT'S LAPIS!!!" That has new meaning for me and I LOL every time XDDD))

Yes, I imagine once Ipswich meets a real human he will freak out. I don't know if it's registered with him that the bodies lying around here and there are the humans talked about in the stories. Only.. dead and mummified.
I was a little worried about translating weird optics into the Peanuts style but apparently it didn't give me as much of a problem as I thought it would. And I CANNOT STOP DRAWING PEANUTPUNKS. They're so simple and easy-to-draw and they're starting to accumulate all over the place in my notes.
Oh good I am so relieved I wasn't too far off with her faces. Ipswich needs to learn that instantly invading personal space isn't the best way to make a good first impression. And sjkdlfs I am very much looking forward to both of those, regardless of which comes first.
[ I am not familiar with that Youtube channel - I might have to look into it. OH MAN THAT IS THE BEST. I love when little things like that happen that remind you of certain characters and give said thing an entirely new meaning. ]
