Jack Knight con sketch from C2E2 2011; Copic marker, micron pens, white paint pen.One of my favorite characters ever and one of my favorite con sketches of the year, maybe ever. Done in a smallish sketchbook, maybe 1 1/2 the size of an index card, and the paper was kind of yellow. It actually really worked for the character, and added a nice warm glow to the whole thing when it was finished.

Great pic man,I always found Jack as a very fascinating version of Starman. I for one also miss him being around in the JSA and the current DC universe. Ah well,at least we'll always have Stargirl,she wields his cosmic power staff pretty well.

I dig the yellow paper...and I'll echo what Joel said - I remember when you guys showed me the Starman trades. Completely blew my mind. I was actually looking at purchasing the Starman books recently, and it looks like they have compiled the whole series into six hardcovers, which I thought was pretty cool.

Yeah, those books aren't cheap, although if you go on amazon they are 30$ each, rather than the 50$ that they are normally...though thats still a lot of cash.
I'm kinda busy with The Walking Dead for now though. You guys introduced me to it, but I've finally been able to go through most of the series. Have you been able to keep up with The Walking Dead?

Oh, yeah. It's one of the only books I've ever read that completely absorbs me. Whenever I get a new volume and sit down to read it, everything just disappears except that story.
