Originally I was going to have her in a dress--then I figured she's a character that would be more comfortable and, well, badass in a suit. Plus, I loved her wearing a suit in Batwoman! <3

I think when she was first introduced they had her with long hair and a dress... but that was before they gave her a full backstory and personality.  I now can't remember what comic that was either.  I want to say "52" but I could be wrong.

A tux suits her much better.
