I'm sloooowly adding more details to these pages... ya know, limited shading and what-not. Seeing as Robin and Allison here (eheh, that's her name, never bothered to put it in the script) match their surroundings 24/7. Also, prepare for a dramatic color change in the scene!
There 3 parts and an epilogue for this comic, and each part has different color swatches C:One last thing... Batman, RUDE.

I was tempted to, especially since I love Montoya <33 buut I decided to save those girls for later, and add a side character that I could develop and not worry too much about studying backgrounds XD

I use photoshop--mostly because I've been using it since I was a kid, and I'm just really used to the programming now C: although I bet you could accomplish the same thing with SAI or mangastudio.... >.> I don't know about those other programs, though. So Photoshop is for me <3

no i use manga studio. it's different from SAI.. but in a few weeks, imma buy sai. and in a few months imma just right out buy photoshop. digital art is pretty easy to me

there are tutorials on youtube all the time, it's pretty easy.. if you can do photoshop im sure you can do manga studio

I made a color swatch first, I chose out six(ish?) values of red and grey that looked well together, then chose the medium red as my base for the page. After I created the lineart, I filled everything in with the colors that "suited" the subject. Haha, pretty simple.
But, for the "older" look, I added two layers (VIA photoshop) over the entire image. One was a muted sepia that put on Darken at 87%, the second was a texture I took myself of an old 30's newspaper I had lying around. For that layer, I put it on Screen at 20%. I put those 2 layers in one folder and made the folder 59%, although I adjust slightly from page to page. BUT, that's the gist!
Hopefully it's not as confusing to read, I'm terrible at explaining things. If you have any other questions, I'd be glad to answer! Hopefully this was slightly useful XD
