Happy Valentines Day everyone! Made this especially for Valentines Day. I asked *xMarinx what she felt I should paint next out of my old artwork and she picked this piece so here it is. Did it in about 5 hours in Photoshop CS3.Painting this was kind of a warm up in getting ready to paint *minarho1 's contest entry which I've finally finished the line art for.
What's going on in the pic? Malon is getting a piggy-back ride through the Lost Woods by Link. Judging by her delighted expression towards the fairy, (and the fact that all Hyrulians besides Link and the Kokiri cannot set foot into the Lost Woods or else they'll turn into a Wolfo or Stalfos or Mushroom or something...) she's never been here before!
P.S. (Lemmie know if something looks weird and I'll see if it's worth fixing. I seriously rushed this picture >_>;;; )

The fact that Link's eyes are looking out, it's an interesting effect! It makes me feel like I'm there in some sorta form. Like I'm looking through something else's eyes and it makes me wonder what it is.

Too bad that the Lost Woods doesn't look as good as this in the actual game. I mean the areas in the game were amazing when I first played the game(back in 1998) but now they look so dated(still love OoT though).

It looks lovely, but I find it very sad... (Unless Navi is hiding,) I see two adults that went into the lost woods without a fairy! That means they're going to turn into stalfos! O.O Though, a stalfos with Malon's dress on would be quite funny.

That is really good, I really like teh spots of sunlight coming in. (That and Malon is my favorite Zelda girl.) Anyway, I really like it.

Please don't alter my work. I worked very hard for many hours on it. When I drew it I drew it for a reason and it wasn't so that it could be altered for other people to fit their own desires. If you want a pic of Link carrying Saria you should draw one yourself
I would love to draw Saria but I just need time. Right now I'm working on a Saria cosplay costume and a Link cosplay costume for the Zelda project. It isn't romantic since our model for Saria is 9 years old, but the photos will be amazing
