Bluestar's final heroic deed, after the clan was almost sure they'd lost her. Her eyes are on the viewer rather than Tigerstar because that's where the dogs are coming from.
I know, she canonned into a dog yada yada but I really, really didn't feel like drawing a fucking dog. Much less a Bloodhound, which is what I imagined those dogs. You know, their mouths slobbering, tongues lolling, black and tan, huge, slavering lips... To me, that screams Bloodhound. Especially since they're obsessed with tracking.

First started drawing this to prove a point, point being that you can't claim ownership to color palettes of characters that ain't yours to begin with. I came across a (very nice) Warriors color scheme here, and the artist went on and on about how she was gonna report anyone who'd use the colors or style etc., but ummm... You CAN'T claim ownership to this kinda stuff... Seriously. You can't. The whole drawing, yes, your own elaborate design, yes, but something that is a 99% canon color scheme of an existing character? Naaaaaaaaaah. So I started using her colors for these characters to say "see if dA staff cares", but then I decided to use more of my own imagination after all because some things about the character's colors were really off. The result is 50:50.

Don't get me wrong, I normally do respect an artist's wishes but when you go oooooooon and oooooooon and ooooooon about what others may or may not do while every jurisdiction in the world will facepalm at you, I'm like Especially since a color scheme for some fandom, is a reference, even more so when published. It's COLORS! Plus, some designs are so basic that using the same one as someone else, can be mere coincidence.
