Haven't really uploaded anything in a long time, in part due to the T&C issues. However, I thought there would be a lot of people here who might enjoy this. It was a shot I did for a friend's business, he builds bikes (including this one).Related content

I'm sure you could sell me a motorcycle with this.
Love the lighting.. it might be too much on the wheel in the back because it does make me think "There's huge lights in the background", but nevertheless. It glows with godliness.
Seafood and Dairy Bar, hahaha... never think of combining the two myself..

Yup, that's a reasonable criticism (on the tire), and I agree. Didn't have the flagset I needed on set and was too lazy to retouch it... haha. The final version was handled by a retoucher.

Crazy color going on. The red completely sends all the focus to the bike. I am SO envious of your art.

even though there is a hot chick and a lot going on in the back (not too much), there is a definite focus on the bike. the entire scene is lit very nicely i might add.

The background almost looks like a fake backdrop because of the way the bike and model are lit. Artificially lit outdoor photos are often a bit weird looking and I much prefer natural or available light but this one works and I like it. I think that's because it's brilliantly staged and it's not trying to look real or realistic. The model, the location and the bike all have a very cool retro feel but at the same, the shot feels very modern. The bike looks great and I love the rich green colour. This shot would look excellent as part of a series. Did you take more with other bikes and models?

Maybe in the future, there will be more of these. Shooting these bikes is difficult, not technically, but logistically: they're anywhere from 30k+, so not many people own them. I do think I'll do some more though, it's fun.
