Description My awesomely artistic interpretation of Link's final battle against Onox, the General of Darkness, who was the main antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons.

I feel comfortable enough in this piece to show the finished product off. It took FAR longer than I thought it would, and than it probably should have. A big reason was all those little side drawings I did. But I would often find myself bored with this for whatever reason, and would feel the compulsive need to hash out whatever particular idea was running around my head at the time.

My biggest headache and main reason for my procrastination was Din and her little crystal cage. I found it very hard to get the crystal to look right, and then I had to wrestle with Din...not fun.

see I never got this far in the game -_-;;

nifty picture, I especially like all the cool details like the rupee-stealing rat, Din's expression, the shading on the monster's claws and those embers coming out of its nose
regarding the 'crystal-look', when drawing glass (or metal), the general rule seems to be: solid, crisp highlight lines and shadow lines for shiny smooth surfaces. For plastics and matte surfaces: more of a gradient.

also, Din turned out great
