He was being a child, but what had she really expected of the serpent God? She stormed across the rocky path letting her eyes search through the mist. The dense fog hadn't made anything easier; with a body as massive as his he should have stood out like a sore thumb amidst the ruins.

Every passing minute just gave her more time for the anger to boil. "Oh serpent! Fire God!" She chimed. "Grand spirit of flame, your humble servant has come to beg forgiveness on her knees. Have I offended thee? Does thou wish to see my flesh burn with your holy flame until I turn to ash?" Each word came out more exaggerated than the last. Provoking Bael had turned into a habit for her, but even she had feared she was going to far.

The rocks began to shift. She could hear him slither over the stone and buildings causing the rocks to fall from the ancient structures. Then, he appeared.

His glowing blue eyes seemed to seer into her soul, but she gave him a look to match his fury. 'He is being a child,' she told herself over and over again.

"It was only a kiss. I've had far more done to me by men who meant less." She said.

A low growl rumbled in his throat. His shriek tore through the vale and down his throat she could see the burning blue flame.

So this is how he was going to react. She stood with her hands on her hips as the fire erupted and engulfed her body. Yes, he really was being a child. - Iliaden Song
