Nicely done! I've also noticed that you've drawn Chun-Li's comically oversized legs properly as well, good one!

Lol, her thigh's width is bigger than her body's, you do NOT want to get kicked by her!

Lol. I loved beating up the car in the bonus stage, though I rarely succeed in it now despite being a master at it when I was young.

I know. My theory is that modern games are too easy, and have softened us into believing that all old games are too hard when in actuality we just suck at them. Take for example a game like Contra, which I'm certain many of us have blown through when we were kids, and unless you're a hardcore retro gamer like myself, most people who would pick up the game years later would probably get owned in the first level, lol.

Definitely, I think it's largely to the fact that newer games want everyone to essentially "beat" them as a way of doing unlocks and other "content" nonsense. Granted with an old school game, if you REALLY wanted to you could essentially beat any of them, BUT there was almost a high sense of pride with knowing back then what games you beaten.

I know. When I beat an old game, especially a particularly hard and brutal one, I feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment, it leaves you with an awesome feeling. I can't even begin to tell you how awesome it felt to beat Ninja Gaiden or Castlevania 3 for the first time, I felt like I was king of the world. With new games, I find it feels like you've just beaten another level. You kill the last boss who's usually ridiculously easy, you watch a long and dragged out cutscene, unlock some stuff and that's it. Not all games are like this I admit, but I find a lot of game developers tend to puss out thinking that their game would get a bad review or people wouldn't like it if it was too hard, so instead they settle on making a ridiculously easy game that lets the gamer feel invincible. The problem with this being that gamers who want a good challenge like myself play through these games once and not bother with them again, or not even complete them at all because they get bored and these games tend to be ludicrously long and drawn out (seriously, when you complain about a game that takes 8 hours to beat as being "too short", than you've got problems).
