Description
Inspired by the "silent" comic strips of I decided to tackle a comic that didn't have any actual dialogue in it (sound effects and visual cues notwithstanding). Trying new things, hurrah!
Funny how the first thing I went to was Alison's addiction to video games, as it wasn't a favorite comic strip, nor have I been into many games as of late (I almost feel like Veronica in this!). But, for some reason, the visuals clicked with me for the simple statement, and everything just flowed through there. I hope this goes over better than then original space comic, as I think this conveys a message in one strip better than the previous story-based one!
Kickline and its characters belong to me. So does the artwork.

That's a good question! I wouldn't know as I haven't kept up with Mad since I was very young, but at least I'm on the right track with humor then!

And I do like how the comic doesn't need dialog, it runs rather well with just the expressions and symbols.

Sometimes, it's good to give dialogue the day off, and let the characters' body language speak for them. Nice.

Oh Goof? Nope, he was actually based off of a friend of a friend over a decade ago (his personality and looks have evoled into what you see here!)!

Oh, I have character who had the similar name and appearance but his traits are different, especially as the real friend changed personality as he is growing up, he was 14 when I knew him, now 18 coming to 19. At least being a Whovian is better than being a brony, I do like MLP but the bronies are crazy, even for just doing one deviation on MLP, I got a instant watcher for that, I find this rather annoying and I feel such a typecast.

I think the "silent" approach is suitable for this comic! The second panel where Candy enters their world of imagination dressed up as a game character is especially interesting in this sense.

I hear ya, I was a Sega kid myself!
The main cast here can be accepting as Candy (ok, probably less so, but still pretty accommodating). I usually prefer to leave serious jerks to the real world.
