Nice traditional work with the coloring, by the way. I always admire coloring pencil skills, I've never had the experience to do things like this beyond the initial sketch itself.

actually, I colored most of it with markers and just added a layer of colored pencil as a finishing touch. It makes the colors appear more interesting and bright. ^^

I never could figure out how to color properly with markers when I was a teenager, I know what you mean. ;w; It's easy for me to smear the colors, or cause the colors to bleed into each other. I'll always tip my hat to artists who can make the most of them.

I still have tons to learn myself, but that's the beauty of any hobby or profession; you never run out of new things to discover and master. ^^
Markers are definitely worth it from what I've seen. That and a combination of coloring pencils has a great paint-y effect in this case, it's amazing.
