Description
By the amazing feedback on 'outside', i decided to make a remake out of it. It was supposed to be a quick job- but it ended up in an ~ 10 hours job as always. Doh, when i start something i just can't stop it, there's always something to improve. And i should have learned geophysiks... anyways, thanks for all the great comments/critique, i've tried to keep them in mind but failed with some.Corrected the colors, removed/ renewed the smaller planets (they were obviously cloned from big planet before), put the most work on some corrective action to the nebula/clouds and planet. It wasn't planned to remake the whole big planet, but i just couldn't leave at it was.
I know, the lightning is horrible as usual, but heh, i'm working on it. I'm kinda new to astrophysics at all, so i decided to prefer my imagination which means no realism at all.

The brushing and detail is awesome, though for me the intensity of the top red neb/clouds takes away from the entire piece. It's also bothering me how much and how thickly it overlaps the planet--seems to mess up the depth. Very nice brushing on those, however. I like the texture of the large planet and how you can see the canyon in the middle! And the light on the clouds below is excellent. The mood you created is great, especially wit the colors.

The brushing quantity is a bit extreme, but I know that's what you intended. The brushing itself though is fantastic!

hehehehe, I love it. The colors are simply great.
Just one little comment: with all that light on it, you wouldn't be able to see so many little stars. Only major stars and nearest suns. If you paint those little stars they end up looking as dust.

I love what you have done here. The colour of the cloud and gases (?) pulled me in straight away. The tones are fantastic and I love the detailing. Excellent composition and I can certainly appreciate how much hard work went into this. I would like to be able to do this sort of thing -- wouldnt even know where to start...
