Description I was practicing my drawings of red wolves earlier so I could make (or rather, revive) a character... here she is. Some of you guys who have been watching me for years might remember an old red wolf character Kagami who never really got any colored pictures. Now I'm going to try to make her a part of my group of present characters. I might continue to darken her fur a bit, since it was more consistent looking originally, but this was just trying out stuff with Copic Sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils.

Ah, this is nice for traditional art! I've never really worked extensively with colored pencils and markers, but this is quite nice! I've always wondered how people pull of the shading with markets in such a nice fashion. I'm also assuming you like wolves a lot. ^_^

Yup! I like all wolves, but I'm particularly interested in red wolves, and I hope to draw more of them and this character in the future.

Tigers are pretty cool too! All these animals just seem like so much fun to draw, I don't think I can get around to all of them. xD

I have a tiger drawing in my gallery, along with a painting of two cats. :3 You can check 'em out if you'd like.

That's brilliant! How big is it? Can you draw these things freehand without making mistakes? The lines look very clean.

It was done on paper that was 9 inches by 12 inches in size, but obviously it doesn't fill all of that up.

Usually I sketch them in pencil first on printer paper, and then trace them onto this thicker kind of paper that takes markers better, and finally ink them. This is actually one of the rare times where I didn't make too many mistakes when inking and I was able to cover it up when I added the thicker parts of the lines.

Thanks so much for your comment!
