"Doodle! What should we do today?" Sketch said, lying on her bed with her head hanging over the side. Doodle stood in front of her mirror playing with her ears. She was wiggling them around and giggling. She turned towards Sketch and put a finger to her mouth in contemplation.
"Hmmm…I don't know." She scratched her head. Sketch groaned and rolled over, planting her hands on the ground. She did a handstand and flipped herself up onto her feet.
"We have to think of something to do. I'm so bored!" her ears drooped down. Doodle looked back at the mirror and thought. What could we do today…? She glanced over at her closet which was spilling with clothes. Doodle was not the neatest catan in the world, but then again neither was Sketch. Then, it hit her.
"We can go shopping!" Doodle screamed, jumping up and down in the air. Sketch laughed and hugged her friend tight.
"Sounds like an awesome idea, Doodle!" Doodle giggled and ran to her closet. She threw it open and started tossing her clothes out. She got on her hands and knees and started searching through her clothes. Sketch walked over and peaked into her closet, wondering what it was that she was looking for. After a while of searching, Doodle pulled out a large box and thrust it up into the air.
"Behold!" she shouted. Sketch stared at it wondering what was in this box.
"What is that?" She asked, pointing at it. Doodle dropped it on the ground and flipped open the lid. Jars of change and piles of bills lined the box. Sketch stared vacantly into the box. "Doodle? Where did you-"
"The nice man across the street pays me five hundred dollars a week to go and clean his house for him. He is so nice," she giggled, pulling out bills and putting them into a bag next to her. "he doesn't even mind if I mess up every now and then. But he really likes it when I have to reach under things for some reason…" Doodle looked up at Sketch. "I don't know why…" Sketch shrugged, not knowing either. Doodle grabbed around two hundred dollars from her box and slid it into her bag. She put the lid back on the box and pushed it back into the closet. She stood up and slung her bag over her shoulder. "Ready?" Sketch nodded and headed for the door.
"Off to the mall!" she shouted, running outside towards the road. Doodle giggled and ran after her shouting "Yay!"
After a while of walking and a lot of nice men giving them compliments they had arrived at the mall. Doodle and Sketch looked around for a store to shop at.
"Where should we go?" Doodle asked. Sketch put her open hand against her brow and looked around.
"Hmmmmm…Oh! What about that one?" she pointed to a store about three shops down. 'Girl's Best Friend' read the sign above. Sketch looked at Doodle, smiling. "Were girls! That works perfectly for us!" Sketch ran towards the store, Doodle following close behind. Sketch ran into the store and looked around. Doodle caught up and stood next to her. She looked around with her.
"What should we get?"
"Something crazy." Sketch said with excitement. She looked around and then saw something that caught her eye. "Look!" she ran over to the clearance bin and pulled out a pink dress. She held it up against herself and gasped. The dress went down to her mid-thigh and was held up by two straps. Doodle ran over and covered her mouth with her hands.
"Sketch! That looks so adorable!" Sketch giggled and hugged the dress. She hung it up on a nearby rack and kept digging. Doodle started to look around when she saw something that made her jump up and down. "Sketch! Look!" she ran over to a hat rack and pulled off a purple fedora. Sketch looked up from the clearance bin and put a hand over her mouth. Doodle's hat sat perfectly in the middle of her head, slightly making her ears push forward. It looked absolutely incredible.
"Doodle! You need to get that hat!" Doodle giggled and pulled the hat down slightly so it covered her eyes. She did a sexy pose with her knee up and her hips pushed back. She threw her hands up in the air and stared down at the ground. Sketch giggled and jumped up and down. "You look so cute!" Doodle giggled and hugged herself. Just then Sketch remembered seeing something that would match Doodle's new hat.
"Wait one second!" She shouted. She jumped into the clearance bin and swam through the clothes, looking for the piece that would work best for Doodle. Doodle walked over to the clearance bin and hung over the side, watching her friend sift through piles of clothes. Sketch dove under and disappeared in the piles of clothes. Doodle watched and waited for her friend to re-emerge. After waiting for almost ten minutes Sketch shot out of the clearance bin and landed next to Doodle. She held up a pair of black overalls with two bright purple straps. Doodle's eyes widened in awe.
"They're perfect!" she shouted. She grabbed them and slid them on, snapping the overalls over her shoulders. The two went over to the floor length mirror to see how awesome they look. They both giggled as Doodle took a camera out of her bag. For the next few hours they stood in front of the mirror, taking pictures of each other in silly poses with their newly bought clothes. They didn't even need to spend any of the money they brought because so many of the men who worked in the store offered to pay for their new clothes. Such a nice thing when strangers are willing to help.
