Personality:
Byre is loyal and extremely sensitive to those he is close to, not one to just let a friend stew in their negative feelings. He can come off as very stoic, a very “work before play” mindset prevalent due to his upbringing, but the right type of people can bring out his fun-loving, childlike side. He’s never one to take risks unless it is the only available option, preferring to always remain on the side of caution. Brye is always quite the worrywart, and won’t hesitate to physically stop someone from doing something foolish that they’ll either regret or will get them killed. Raised in a well to do home, he was taught manners and chivalrous practices and does his best to act as professional as he can. This can sometimes make him come off as a stick in the mud at parties or Prince Charming incarnate.

History:
Byreian was born in the Lily Kingdom with his parents, older sister and brother, and younger twin siblings. As a child, he was quite shy and reclusive, preferring to stay in the comfort of his home rather than socialize. He was born with a speech impediment that made him even LESS likely to attempt conversation with anyone and his parents feared that he might remain this way for the rest of his life. Though his family originated in the Lily Kingdom, many members had established themselves in other kingdoms, one of which being Daisy. Every summer, Byre was sent to his family’s ant farm in Daisy where he would be put to work on the farm. Though he hated it at first, he grew to love the farm and began to look forward to his summer excursions.
When he wasn’t on the farm, he was working on his skills with weaponry and the martial arts, following in the footsteps of his father and older brother, both of whom he admired. When he was almost 11 years old, his parents hired a tutor to help him with his speech impediment, wanting their son to sound as professional as he was being trained to act. Compliant with his parents wishes, he did so, but couldn’t really ignore the feeling that they felt some sort of shame towards him.
Byre’s life continued very much in this pattern of farm life, training, and tutoring on repeat until he reached the mature age of 21. At this time, his brother suggested he get out of Lily Kingdom and find some work as a knight for another kingdom. At first he was unsure, but eventually he found himself headed to the Rose Kingdom per his brother suggestion (once again) and began his training. Only two years later would he find himself being selected as the crown prince’s bodyguard.
