Alex, I think that this is an amazing piece of work--the flaming sword, the dewtail and light on the warrior, the detail to the left and the blur of motion as he is running. I think that the right leg, depite the perspective of him running, is too short--it looks as if it has been chopped off and he is legless. Normally, even running, you would see down closer towards the knee methinks. And the witch--while a good concept, she's too grainy and ill-defined although I think the expression is great. I mean, isn't the warrior look FOR her? With everything else so finely rendered, the quality of her and somehow, the balance of the composition isn't quite right to my eye. I think she either needs to be a bit higher in that corner or else, hmmm, not sure. Maybe crouched down by those tree roots or viines or whatever they are?
the detail on the warrior's face is just outstanding.

Hmm--there must be another way to go about it then . . .think outside the boc, Alex, you certainly create art that is like that. I can't help you with this as I have absolutely no idea about the industry, but try to make some connections or go to some sort of fair or I don't know. Persisitence is important, too, in any arts industry, but try to find a new approach if you can, to wherever it is you're trying to get. I know, really useful info, butuse that creativity of yours in another way now--to find how to achieve what it is you want. Maybe write a journal here, looking for professional ideas? I think your work is good enough, but then I don't really know this genre. Hang in there!!

Thanks again for the support. I wanted to push my sculpting and who could resist a flaming sword.
