Description Clue is an android, and member of the U.S.S. Fenrir's junior officer staff. Pursuing a career as a relief engineering officer, he is endowed with a perfect knowledge of the ship's innards, and his capacities as an engineer sometimes even exceed Chief Engineer Boryp's.

As a person, Clue is remarkably cultured, courteous and refined, yet he does not share other androids' classic desire of becoming more human, thinking on the contrary that organic beings are far less efficient than he is, and being overall prone to see his duty as a sacred task to help the "poor meatbags" compensate for their many imperfections !

Quote : "Becoming more Human? What for, Sir? Experiencing pain, sadness, fear and loss? And potentially having to cope with organic contingencies such as having winds and going to the toilets? Thanks but no. Keep your Humanity, and i'll keep my superior efficiency."

And what about his security protocols? I never understood how Data is so efficient, but lacks the basic security functions to prevent a simple probe turning him The Sun (TNG: Masks). Something so advanced should not be so easily hacked.

Well, DATA sure is efficient, but the alien "mind" thak took him over in "Masks" was supposedly over 87 millions years-old, so all in all, we can safely assume it was far more advanced than him. Also, it was not the first time Data's systems are hacked : it happened before when Ira Graves transferred his consciousness into his neural net, in "The Schizoid Man"

And he goes insane when an EPS conduit overloads, or he goes insane when someone shoots him (Insurrection), he imitates Picard and takes over the ship, and too many others to remember. Seems like Data gets hacked far too often. Personally, I would never trust a computer as my Captain for that simple reason.
