This looks fantastic, agree with the guy about the droplets losing their arc and I'd say the back sploosh for lack of a better word may be a little too small compared to the front to, but that's just nitpicking really, animation is nice and smooth and I think loops really well (out of curiosity is this planned for use in a game environment or 2D animation?)

This is gorgeously smooth. I think the only thing I could mention is that some of the droplets seem to lose their outwards arcs and drop straight down which seems unnatural. It's also unclear what's causing the splash. As a splash, though, it's still very fluid and the shading is amazing.

Glad to hear it! I wanted to mention that I've been looking for FX reference for the longest time. This stuff is exactly what I needed. I studied your lightning for work, and then your smoke for my own project. So thanks for putting these up and letting us in on your process. Even being able to pause the swf and go frame by frame helps immensely.
